Genuine Collaboration

There are a number of key groups and relationships that will make the MAT a transformational organisation and bring success to our pupils:

  • All schools within the MAT working together in genuine collaboration
  • Academy Leaders’ Group coming together every 6 weeks to share best practice, review innovative practice and research, Undertake cross MAT CPD and recommend issues to Learning & Achievement Committee
  • Teacher Network Groups : teachers across the MAT schools building key relationships and contract to enhance their support and peer network
  • LGB Chairs and Clerks: the chairs and clerks of each LGB within Hubs meet together three times a year to discuss a range of issues and to elect a representative to sit on the Board of Directors
  • Finance & Administration: the support staff in each academy meet regularly with MAT central staff for training and development in finance, HR, systems, policies and procedures.
  • ICT Strategy: an ICT strategy working group of MAT central staff and academy leaders has been set up to explore the current and potential ICT options that will best facilitate the mission and objectives of the MAT.
  • MAT Executive Team: meets every week to make operational decisions relating to the day to day functioning of the MAT, in accordance with the strategic plan.  
  • The Diocesan Education Department:  MAT colleagues will work in full collaboration and partnership with the Diocesan Education Department, drawing on resources, expertise, services and a shared vision to deliver a high class school improvement service.
