St. Michael's Junior Church School had the pleasure of welcoming so many parents and carers into school yesterday for a wonderful STEM Fair. The children planned and delivered a series of activities to share their learning from last week's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) week, including experiments in water filtration and the impact of water pollution, demonstrations of the phases of the moon and how craters form on our moon and much more besides! Huge thanks to Ms Hopson for organising our STEM week, and to the teachers and TAs who supported the children in their activities. Thanks also to Wessex Water for their informative workshops, Simon Holbeche from Bath Astronomers/ Astro Thoughts for bringing space a little bit closer with his planetarium and workshops, and to Friends of St Michael’s Juniors for funding the planetarium visit.
