Welcoming Martock to our Trust family
As we begin 2026, we are so pleased to announce that Martock Church School has officially joined our Trust family, becoming our 46th school. This marks an exciting new chapter for the popular village school, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary.
Located just outside Yeovil, Martock Church School is a one-form entry school with a strong reputation for inclusivity, outdoor learning, and community engagement.
Head Sarah Lafferty-Jenkins said: “Martock Church School is a happy school.
"We have a vision of hope and aspiration for our children and staff (Jeremiah 29:11) and our values are kindness, respect, perseverance, and collaboration. We enable our children to flourish by embracing every opportunity and to make a difference to the world around them.
"Martock is well known for the children's regular fundraising, outdoor learning, sport and inclusivity. We received both a Good Ofsted inspection and a successful SIAMS inspection during the last academic year. The school community is already feeling the warm welcome from the BWMAT family. We can't wait to start our journey!”
