Aim
To ensure that schools maintain a strong safeguarding culture which keeps all our pupils safe, and equips them with the skills to keep themselves safe in the future.

What we expect from you
- Ensure the Headteacher is the named DSL, in line with our Scheme of Delegation, and has the knowledge to lead a strong culture of safeguarding
- Know that safeguarding is the responsibility of all at the school and ensure they are equipped to fulfil that responsibility.
- Ensure all training and information sharing is timely and communicated to all relevant staff.
- Ensure there is an appointed safeguarding governor and that they have the knowledge to deliver their responsibilities
- Follow safer recruitment processes rigorously
- Do everything possible to keep every child safe.
